Tender description

Queen's University Belfast (hereafter referred to as ‘the University’ or ‘QUB’) wishes to appoint a competent contractor(s) for the supply, delivery and installation of office furniture to the Main Site Tower, the Maths and Physics Teaching Centre and the School of Computer Science. The School of Computer Science is located within the Bernard Crossland Building and within 14 and 16 Malone Road. These building refurbishment projects are due for completion between April and July 2016 and are located on the main Queen's University Campus as indicated on the accompanying Location Plans. The furniture is intended to be stylish and modern in design and for use within office, meeting, lounge and café areas in each of the completed projects. The tender is divided into the following lots: Lot A — soft furniture — this lot relates to seating and will apply to each of the sites above. Lot B — hard furniture — this lot relates to tables, shelving and storage units and will apply to each of the sites above. Lot C — furniture for 14 and 16 Malone Road — this lot relates to seating and desks for Computer Science located at 14 and 16 Malone Road. Applicants are invited to tender for lot A, lot B and lot C or any combination. Lots will be evaluated independently and the University reserves the right to award each lot separately.
