Supply and Installation of Residential Security Equipment

Tender description

This tender is for the supply and installation of low level security equipment in residential properties, to reduce the risk of burglary. This project is part of a ‘target hardening scheme’ and the successful supplier will be required to assess existing security measures in residential properties, recommend appropriate improvements and subsquently fit additional security measures in order to reduce the number of burglaries due to insecurities. The project will focus on residents living in Withington, Manchester, where a significant proportion of occupants are students and there is a high risk of burglary. The successful contractor will be solely responsible for providing all necessary labour, plant, equipment, software and/or hardware to satisfactorily and safely deliver the goods and services required by this contract. Due to the nature of the work, staff installing security equipment on behalf of the successful tenderer will be required to pass Police Vetting before being allowed to work on the contract.
