Relocation & Refurbishment of Construction Classrooms

Tender description

To undertake the refurbishment of the Painting & Decorating, Plastering, Electrical Workshop and Construction staffroom. Comprises of building and construction work, mechanical and electrical and structural work, as per the tender drawings. This would include individual classrooms and staffroom. This is a live working environment that is populated by staff, learners and members of the public. Work will be required to be undertaken during working hours. Working hours will be restricted to Monday – Friday. The work will be undertaken on the ground floor of the OB Plumbing & Joinery Corridor. Access will be via the ground floor which will be occupied. Safe access will need to be demonstrated travelling around the site. Close liaison will be required with the Institute personnel to minimise disruption. Please supply with your tender a copy of your proposed health & safety plan for this project. This building is on the Nuns Corner Campus and is a very busy pedestrian area. A method statement is required on how proposed works is going to be undertaken in a live working environment and the timescales expected
