Provision of Animal Care Units & Groundworks

Tender description

To undertake the creation of an Animal Enclosure including ground works such as the creation of pathways and cleaning pad concrete slabs, water and drainage connection, installation of fencing, supply of electric and power and some elements of landscape finishes as per the tender drawings. This is a live working environment that is populated by staff, learners and members of the public. Work will be required to be undertaken during working hours. Working hours will be restricted to Monday – Friday. The work will be undertaken at our Nunsthorpe Campus in the Quad Area access will be via the ground floor which will be occupied. Safe access will need to be demonstrated travelling around the site. Close liaison will be required with the Institute personnel to minimise disruption. Please supply with your tender a copy of your proposed health & safety plan for this project. This building is on our Nunsthorpe Campus and is a very busy pedestrian area. A method statement is required on how proposed works is going to be undertaken in a live working environment and the timescales expected
