Multi-Media Centre Refurbishment, FWB Electrical Upgrade and WDC Sports Therapy Works DT/1061703/2026

Tender description

Following the accepted Expressions of Interest, the University of Winchester is undertaking a tender through the Hampshire County Council (HCC) Minor Works Framework 2026 for the refurbishment of the Multi-Media Centre (MMC). The MMC is located on the ground floor of the Tom Atkinson Building, within the King Alfred Quarter of the University of Winchester. <br /><br />The works are to be carried out Monday 20th July 2026 - Monday 31st August 2026. Contractors must ensure that all works are completed within this timeframe, with minimal disruption to the surrounding campus.<br /><br />Following contract award, it is the University’s intention to award two additional phases of work, subject to satisfactory performance and acceptable pricing:<br /><br />Fred Wheeler Building – Electrical Upgrade<br />West Downs Centre – Sports Therapy Refurbishment<br /><br />These additional works may be procured under the same framework as part of a continued programme of works. <br /><br />Any queries relating to this project should be made via correspondence on the website and can be addressed to the main contact below. <br /><br />Dan Tonge<br />Project Manager <br />University of Winchester
