Tender description

Following Principal Bridge Inspection carried out by Structures Design Section of DCC in February 2023, several defects were identified. To maintain the structural integrity of the bridge proposed maintenance works are listed below: • Reconstruction of missing parts of downstream wingwalls and pilasters. • Repointing of masonry arch barrel, arch face and wing walls, • Cleaning of brickwork and stone masonry, • Removal of graffiti on masonry work, • Installation of new upstream (north) and downstream (south) parapets, • Resurfacing over the existing tarmac track. Anticipated start date - 20/07/2026 Completion - 28/08/2026
