Tender description

Witchford Parish Council is proposing to provide new subsurface plastic geocell grids along the grassed section of Restricted Byway No2 running between The Common and a point approximately 31m west of Manor Court Road Witchford. Reinstatement of a grass seeded surface is essential to ensure that the green lane aspect of this path is retained after the works. The geocell grids supplied must comply with the British Horse Society safety requirements as detailed below and contractors will be required to demonstrate this as part of the quotation process. The purpose of this scheme is to provide a year-round path that remains usable for all including those with reduced mobility, while at the same time keeping the feel and look of a green path
