Maxwell Building SBS Office Refurbishment

Tender description

The University of Salford seek to procure the services of a Principal Contractor to undertake internal alteration and refurbishment works on the 7th Floor of the Maxwell Building, Peel Park Campus, Crescent, Salford, Manchester M5 4WT. The proposed works involve the following: 7th Floor (Rooms 724, 726 and 728): • Removal of loadbearing and non-loadbearing partition walls. • Strip out of existing office door. • Erection of partition wall to infill existing opening. • Refurbishment of space incl. new carpet, suspended ceiling and decoration to walls. • Associated mechanical and electrical work The works will be completed during the normal works hours of Monday to Friday 07:30 - 18:00. It is proposed the University will vacate rooms for the full duration of works however the wider building, including the adjoining spaces on the 7th Floor, will be in use for the duration of the construction period. Contractors must outline how works will be segregated to allow continued use of the building within the quality response. ## Contract award
