Tender description

The buildings are made up of timber huts with a link corridor connecting into the main school. The buildings have a timber frame construction supported on a single 100mm leaf of substructure concrete blockwork around the perimeter of the buildings and cross walls at approx. 1750mm centres internally to support the floor joists. External walls have timber cladding and metal sheet cladding to the roofs. Steel framing was subsequently installed to deal with roof uplift loads, which are supported on concrete pad foundations. The classroom and link have an approximate area of 418m2. Lot 1: The type of contract awarded is a Works contract.
