Work done so far The Digital Experience (DXP) programme has made significant progress: · New Drupal architecture and design system are in place for Renfrewshire.gov.uk, built to support multiple domains including the intranet · Existing hosting setup with Acquia Cloud Platform provides a strong foundation for future development · Structured content model and Drupal content / paragraph types created for Renfrewshire.gov.uk will be reused and enhanced for the intranet · Design system (Figma and Chromatic/Storybook) will be reused and tailored for the intranet, including internal branding updates · LocalGov Drupal Microsite entity is part of the architecture, allowing flexible management of multiple domains from one dashboard while keeping each site's design and features distinct · Key modules and configurations supporting microsites have been implemented, combining LocalGov Drupal features with Renfrewshire-specific needs. Which phase the project is in Live Existing team Key Renfrewshire Council team members: • 1 Digital Experience Manager (product owner) • 1 Project manager • 1 Lead Content Designer • 2 Content Designers • 1 Content Editor • 1 Senior Interaction Designer • 1 Front-end Developer. The Council team is responsible for: · UX and content activities like ORCA (Object, Relationships, Calls-to-action, Attributes), content modelling, and content writing and migration · Prototyping pattern library and objects and documenting them using Figma, Notion and Jira · Writing most Jira tickets, including descriptions and Acceptance Criteria · Front-end development tasks such as building and optimising the HTML pattern library and running accessibility tests and audit · Conducting most QA, UAT, and user testing. Address where the work will be done This work will take place remotely to avoid unnecessary CO2 emissions due to travels. Working arrangements The supplier will integrate with the Renfrewshire Council team, share knowledge and insight, work in an open and transparent way, and lead web development activities. The digital agency will be responsible for end-to-end development and technical aspects of the intranet development and Renfrewshire.gov.uk optimisation, including: · Leading all technical development: Drupal setup, architecture, integrations, and deployment (with senior technical lead for strategic decisions and smooth collaboration) · Supporting front-end development and integration between Figma, Chromatic/Storybook, GitHub, and Drupal · Providing project management resources for planning, delivery, and coordination · Writing Jira tickets for technical fixes or backend solutions when needed · Providing formal QA support for complex or high-impact features only · Fully adopting the object-oriented approach and applying it in Drupal Tools and communication: The team will work remotely and communicate via Microsoft Teams. We use Figma/FigJam, Storybook, Chromatic, GitHub, and Jira. All project ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, show and tells) will be held on Microsoft Teams.
