Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) had a requirement to contract with an external service provider for the provision of an external managed service to support the utilisation its new Oracle Fusion system, named Aspen. The supplier will provide expert support for application maintenance, integrations, incident resolution, environment management and system updates. It will offer a flexible, scalable model that enables knowledge transfer, allowing the internal team to gradually take ownership of system management. The service will follow a phased transition model, gradually shifting responsibilities from the supplier to FLS over 18-24 months.
