MH-Autistic Adult Support Fund and Learning Disabilities Support Fund Administrator

Tender description

The Scottish Government has a requirement to place a contract with an external service provider for the provision of an Autistic Adult Support Fund and Learning Disabilities Support Fund Administrator. They will undertake the administration of two funds: the Autistic Adult Support Fund (AASF) and the Learning Disabilities Support Fund (LDSF). While the oversight of both Funds are combined, the public-facing Funds will remain separate. Lot 1: The fund administrator will: - Work with The Scottish Government to develop the criteria for funding distribution. They will ensure a fair assessment of applications against the criteria. - Assess bids for funding and make recommendations, as appropriate, according to the agreed Fund criteria and objectives. - Manage all funds and their distribution to successful grassroots support organisations, on behalf of the Scottish Government. - Work in collaboration with AASF and LDSF projects to monitor progress and make connections across projects to support good practice in delivering objectives. - Provide support for funded organisations in the form of regular network meetings to facilitate the sharing of best practice and provision of peer support between organisations.. The contract may be extended by up to 12 months at the sole discretion of Scottish Ministers.
