Harome Bridge & Harome Footbridge

Tender description

Part A Harome bridge: Asphalt removal above deck, waterproofing, re-laying asphalt, concrete repair from bottom of deck, vegetation clearance, repairing riverbed, and re-pointing. Works will be completed under full road closure. Part B Harome Footbridge: Dismantle & remove existing footbridge, take down abutments, remove concrete backing, clean stone & set aside for reuse. Batter back banks, compact, install timber piling. Construct concrete bankseats, install new 16m kit footbridge (supplied by NYC). Place Rock Armour, construct ballast walls, reinstate path and new fencing. Contractor must be able to resource both parts of the contract concurrently and all works by the 26th September.
