The successful provider will be appointed to deliver comprehensive construction management and refurbishment services, including the appointment and coordination of all required specialist sub-contractors, to ensure the timely delivery of the new MTSC at Filton. The estimated overall contract value will be between £1.75m and £2.97m and will not exceed £2.97m. The final project value is dependent on the level of funding secured through an Office for Students (OfS) bid, the outcome of which is expected end of September 2025. Two options are therefore envisaged: Option A, subject to the successful award of bid funding, and Option B, to be delivered without bid funding, with the scope and value adjusted accordingly. Below details overall budget for Option A and Option B: Option A - with OfS Grant - £4,5m Option B - College Funding Only - £2,6m Estimated construction value [excluding Fees, VAT. Option A - with OfS Grant - £2,97m Option B - College Funding Only - £1,75m Start Date on site Option A - with OfS Grant - 19/01/26 Option B - College Funding Only - 06/03/26 Completion of the construction works Option A - with OfS Grant - 31/08/26 Option B - College Funding Only - 31/08/2026 Site Weeks Option A - with OfS Grant - 32 week, The contractor will be on site to support the college during the moving in period. Option B - College Funding Only - 25 weeks, The contractor will be on site to support the college during the moving in period.
