Contract Award Notice for Treasury Management Consultancy Service. The Renfrewshire Council (the Council) seeks to appoint a suitably qualified Service Provider to provide a Treasury Management Consultancy Service. The Service Provider will be expected to maintain full compliance with CIPFA’s published best practice; improve the Council’s treasury management strategy; carry out an annual treasury risk review and treasury procedures health check, provide monthly economic and interest rate forecasts and market bulletins and provide general training for Elected Members and Council Officers. Lot 1: Renfrewshire Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Service Provider to provide a Treasury Management Consultancy Service. The appointed Service Provider will be expected to assist the Council with the following: - Maintaining full compliance with CIPFA’s published best practice - Improve the Council’s treasury management strategy - Carrying out an annual treasury risk review and treasury procedures health check - Provide proactive and timely advice on debt structure and borrowing options, cash and investment issues, counterparty assessment and related accounting arrangements - Provide monthly economic and interest rate forecasts and market bulletins, as well as a general helpline and treasury training provided to officers and elected members. - Provide general training for Elected Members and Council officers. The Specification can be found in the Tender Documents in Public Contract Scotland Tenders System. It is anticipated that the Contract will commence on the 1st April 2025 however if the Contract does not commence on this date, the date will be confirmed in the Letter of Acceptance.
