Tender description

Glasgow City Council has a requirement for the provision of Specialist Food Products for the use in event catering and other situations where a more prestigious menu and ingredient is required. Currently the council has a contract for Specialist Products; however this is due to expire in December this year, and the council are now developing a strategy for a new tender. As part of the strategy development, the council is looking to expand the scope of the tender to include lots for artisan bread, ambient wrapped cakes and frozen desserts. The following lot structure would apply; 1. Specialist Food Products, comprising game, shellfish, pies, prepared meat, vegan & gluten free products 2. Artisan Bread 3. Ambient Wrapped Cakes 4. Frozen Desserts Lot 1: Specialist Food Products Specialist Food Products, comprising game, shellfish, pies, prepared meat etc. Lot 2: Artisan Bread Artisan bread, croissants, pastries, gluten-free and vegan bread, rolls, and other associated products. Lot 3: Ambient Wrapped Cakes Individually wrapped cakes, muffins, and cookies for resale. Lot 4: Specialist Frozen Desserts Supply and delivery of frozen desserts.
