Tender description

The University of Sheffield is out to tender on behalf of the Department of Estates and Facilities Management for refurbishment works at Samuel Fox House. Scope of Requirement: The project involves the internal refurbishment of selected areas within the Samuel Fox House building, located on the University of Sheffield campus. The scope of works includes refurbishment to parts of the Ground, First, and Second Floors. The works comprise the removal and replacement of existing internal partitions, replacement of floor, wall, and ceiling finishes, and installation of new furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). The refurbishment will also require associated upgrades to the building's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems to support the revised layout and modern standards of operation. Additionally, the project includes the refurbishment of the existing passenger lift, including necessary mechanical and electrical improvements to ensure compliance with current regulations and reliability standards.
