Tender description

Rotherham MBC is looking to create a framework of prequalified contractors, to act as Principal Contractors, for a range of minor construction works. The framework will have 11 multi-supplier lots for up to 8 years and an overall value in excess of £200million; individual contracts are likely to range from £50,000 to £4,000,000. The framework will be open for use by other public sector organisations in the Yorkshire and Humber region. The framework will include but not be limited to, the following types of works: Roofing (repair & replacement) Demolition works New build social housing Building works up to the works threshold of £4.447,448 (Refurbishments, extensions and new builds of classrooms, flats and commercial buildings) Structural repairs Mechanical installation and repairs Electrical installation and repairs Housing refurbishment and adaptations/disabled facilities extensions A market engagement event is being held at Rotherham Town Hall on Monday 15th September 2025 commencing at 1pm - booking essential.
