Contract Notice Wording for QSQ Tender - 23/031 - Request for Expressions of Interest and Information for the Provision for the Design and Construct or Construction of High Pressure Gas Transportation Infrastructure Services - Change notice 2023/S 076-229682 - https://www.etenders.gov.ie/epps/dps/prepareViewCfTDPSWS.do?resourceId=2252941 Applicants, please note that we are making the following clarifications and updates in relation to the Qualification System Questionnaire (23/031 - Request for Expressions of Interest and Information for the Provision for the Design and Construct or Construction of High Pressure Gas Transportation Infrastructure Services): • the term “Contracting Entity” should be regarded in the QSQ as meaning “Gas Networks Ireland (“GNI”) and any subsidiary, holding company or affiliated company of Gas Networks Ireland, including GNI (UK) Limited.” • The scope of the potential projects under each Lot described in the QSQ shall apply to projects which may be delivered to not only Gas Networks Ireland but also any subsidiary, holding company or affiliated company of Gas Networks Ireland, including GNI (UK) Limited. As a result, the references to “Gas Networks Ireland” or “GNI” in the following sections of the QSQ should be regarded as being replaced with “the Contracting Entity”: o Section A4; and o Appendix 1 (along with any references to Gas Networks Ireland/GNI “are” and “have” being amended as appropriate to the Contracting Entity “is” and “has”). • The scope of the potential projects under each Lot described in the QSQ shall apply to projects located in the entire island of Ireland (so including Northern Ireland) and Scotland. References in Appendix 1 to locations and projects in Ireland should be construed as meaning the entire island of Ireland (including Northern Ireland). Lot 1 Construction / Build Only Lot 2 Design and Build Lot 3 Utility Construction / Civil Engineering Only Lot 4 Mechanical / Gas Specialist only See Appendix 1 for more details regarding the requirements. Admission to the Qualification System is subject to Applicants meeting the minimum requirements and minimum scores set out in this QSQ. The details of how the Qualification System will operate are set out in Appendix 2 (Operation of the Qualification System). Applicants should note that from time to time over the term of the Qualification System, the Contracting Entity, at its sole discretion but without altering the overall nature of the Qualification System, may modify the Qualification System to reflect changes in its requirements. The conditions under which such an option may be exercised by the Contracting Entity will be outlined in the relevant call off competition document. The Contracting Entity reserves the right to add additional lots to the Qualification System. Applicants may apply for qualification in one or more lots.
