Mutli Supplier Framework for the provision of Bus Hire to MTU Cork Campuses

Munster Technological University is seeking tenders from competent service providers for the supply of Bus Hire. Full details can be found in Appendix 1: Requirements and Specifications MTU are seeking to put in place a framework of minimum of (1) and a maximum (5) suppliers for this competition . Contracts will be awarded on the basis of either direct drawdown and mini-competition. This will be determined by the value of each order required. Direct Drawdown: Where the value of the order will be less than €900 (ex Vat), the supplier will be chosen from the framework panel based on its ability to fulfil the requirement based on all applicable factors at the time of the requirement. This may include, but not be limited to, proximity from delivery location, availability of required product(s), speed of delivery and price. Quotes to confirm the price will be required before confirming any order. Mini-Competition: Where the value of the order will be €800 or more (ex Vat), MTU will run a mini competition among all the panel members. Panel members will be invited to submit a mini-tender. Please note that at the sole discretion of MTU, the threshold figure of €800 (ex Vat) mentioned above may be adjusted up or down should this be considered necessary during the duration of this contract. A mini competition will be run between all suppliers for each MTU service requirement. Mini competitions will be run by the relevant department(s) subject to their specific requirements As multiple departments will be placing orders there will be a need for the winning company/ies to set up one MTU account where multiple departments can order under.
