This notice is to inform the market of the successful tender for the refurbishment of 38b High Street, Rhymney. The following is the summary of the scope but a full description was provided in the invitation to tender document:• Complete renewal of pitched roof covering, in conjunction with Redland Specification included in this tender pack. Including renewal of all necessary leadwork to stacks and stepped flashings.• Replace all fascia’s, soffits, guttering and downpipes• Hack off and re-render with Polymer render System front Elevation including window and door bands.• Provide first time render to rear elevation and single storey addition using Polymer render System• Renew all windows with uPVC sliding Sash windows to match existing styles. Renew all external doors with composite doors and frames• Hack off all defective plasterwork internally, re-render and replace.( isolated areas )• Provide fixed scaffolding to face of building to both front and rear elevations. No Doorways or openable windows are to be blocked during the execution of these works; access must be maintained at all times.
