South West Wales Regional Contractors Framework 2024

Tender description

Carmarthenshire County Council, in association with Ceredigion County Council, Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, Pembrokeshire County Council and Swansea Council will be undertaking a procurement exercise to establish a Framework Agreement for use by public and voluntary sector organisations based (or operating) in the counties of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Neath Port Talbot, Pembrokeshire, Powys and Swansea for the provision of construction-related works. These organisations may include, but are not limited to, central Government departments and their agencies, non-departmental public bodies, devolved administrations, NHS bodies, local authorities, police, fire service, voluntary sector, charities and private sector organisations procuring on behalf of these bodies. Details of any Other Participating Bodies will be confirmed upon publication of the tender. Lot 1: West - East Specific Lots The Framework will incorporate value-banded lots split according to geographical areas (e.g. West 0 - 1,000,000 GBP and East 0 - 1,000,000 GBP). However, at this stage, the lotting structure is still under development and example above is for illustrative purposes only. Final lot details will be published in the tender documentation. Please note that Powys has been included as a place of performance as certain Other Participating Bodies that may utilise the Framework, operate from premises in Powys, as well as in the main South West Wales Contractors Framework region. Lot 2: Whole Region Lots The Framework will incorporate region-wide value-banded lots. However, at this stage, the lotting structure is still under development. Final lot details will be published in the tender documentation. Please note that Powys has been included as a place of performance as certain Other Participating Bodies that may utilise the Framework, operate from premises in Powys, as well as in the main South West Wales Contractors Framework region. Lot 3: Housing Construction Lots The Framework will incorporate value-banded lots specifically for house building works for the region as a whole. However, at this stage, the lotting structure is still under development. Final lot details will be published in the tender documentation.
