Temporary 2 Classroom ASD Extension to Scoil Ruain, Killenaule, Co Tipperary

Tender description

The project works consists of the construction and installation of a Temporary (prefabricated) ASD 2 Classroom Extension and associated site works to the south end of the existing school.The floor area of the proposed single-storey classroom block is 140.0m2. Alterations of existing ground levels due to the sloped nature of the site and the relocation of the 2 No. ½ Tonne Gas Storage Tanks are necessitated in the proposed works. The cutting back of trees which form part of the hedgerow boundary where necessary will be undertaken by a qualified tree surgeon. Access to the site is via vehicular entrance directly off Bailey Street. Contractor’s site compound area to be agreed with Client and Architect and must ensure safe separation of construction activities from ongoing school activities. Lot 135498: Temporary 2 Classroom ASD Extension to Scoil Ruain, Killenaule, Co Tipperary 2 ASD Classrooms each incorporating small safe space and wet area, 1 Disabled Access Toilet, 1 Combined Disabled Access Toilet/Shower Unit with common entrance lobby accessing each of the above. Removal of Caretaker’s shed, replacement of same in new location with similar timber shed, relocation of Gas Storage Tanks to a new compliant enclosed compound and all ancillary works.
