Tender description

NWSSP is looking to re-procure its provision of fresh Fruit and Vegetables (including prepared and non-prepared). Lotting strategy to be devised based upon market engagement Lot 1: Procurement to be conducted using the open tender process under the Public Contract Regulations 2015. The contract will address obligations as a public contracting authority under the Well Being and Future Generations Act, and thus place importance upon areas such as decarbonisation, social value, supply chain resilience and the stimulation of the local economy. It will also address factors including supply chain efficiency and resilience. Please note that Carbon Reduction Plans will be required for all bids which total more than 1.25m per annum, in accordance with WPPN 01/21 Additional information: Please register your interest as soon as possible and no later than 04/03/24. NWSSP will be holding supplier engagement sessions with the dates to be confirmed. Following your registration of interest you will be asked to provide your availability and provided with the product list and a set of questions to prepare for the session.
