Tender description

It is the intention of the Council to engage a contractor to resurface footpaths on a selection of parks across Wigan. This programme includes producing a series of drawings, professional services, contract administration and contract documents for highway improvements.\r \r The aim of the scheme is to address reasons for surfacing failure and drainage issues within a primarily pedestrian friendly area and rectify the condition. The works include: \r \r • Re-surfacing of existing footways \r • Patch and repair of existing footways \r • Widening of existing footways \r • Installing footways at desire lines \r • Improving drainage and reducing footway ponding\r \r Interested parties are requested to download and complete the tender documents.\r \r
