Tender description

To appoint contractors to complete windows & door replacements, roofing, damp proofing and fencing works on behalf of Cambs Home Improvement Agency. The Agency’s purpose is to complete adaptations and repairs for people with disabilities, low-income owner occupiers, private renters and housing association tenants in the three Cambridgeshire Districts. Each council may also place works orders for properties which they own, but bidders should note this element of work would be minimal as separate contracts exist elsewhere in the councils. This is responsive works contract and not a planned maintenance contract so work cannot be stockpiled for completion on a programmed basis.
