T24-189CAP Middle and Lower Creggan Reservoirs Site Investigation and Geophysical Survey

Tender description

Derry City and Strabane District Council seeks tenders for Intrusive and non-intrusive ground investigation works are required across the existing Middle Creggan and Lower Creggan dam embankments and spillways. The ground investigation is required to assess the structural and geotechnical conditions of the existing reservoir embankment dams and spillways in order to aid the risk assessments of the dams and to provide up-to-date information. It is envisioned that the information collected during the ground investigation will support the design of remediation measures if necessary. Instrumentation is to be installed to enable the long-term future monitoring of both reservoir dams. Please refer to the CfT documents for further detail.
