Tender description

The proposed public realm scheme in Withington Village. These proposed improvements came out of a consultation done in 2021 around the Withington Village Regeneration Framework and include the part-pedestrianisation of Copson Street - improving accessibility, creating new opportunities for outdoor seating and a venue for street markets. Creating a new library square where Wellington Road meets Wilmslow Road, which would feature new high quality green public space, areas to rest and provide an open space suitable to host local events. Additional information: The Council is using the e-business portal known as the Chest. Applicants will need to register their details at the following link www.the-chest.org.uk. Applicants will need to electronically submit their completed tender documents, including standard selection questionnaire, via the on-line portal by 11am on 18th September 2024.
