Sizewell C, EV Charging

Tender description

Sizewell C has an opportunity for the installation & maintenance of Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations to be positioned at the Main Construction Area, Ancillary Construction area, Temporary Construction Area and North & South Car Parks. The total quantity will be approximately 1,692, this includes 259 active charging stations to be installed immediately followed by a maximum of 1,433 of passive EV chargers. Design has been pre-determined and will be shared later in the tender process. The scope will require regular maintenance to be carried out and faults repaired promptly, furthermore the capacity of EV chargers should be monitored to ensure maximum efficiency. Additional information: SZC requires EV charging stations with a minimum of 3.6kW power output which would be sufficient for staff and visitors to charge their car during the average work day.
