Tender description

NRW are seeking a professional, competent and experienced contractors to carry out routine maintenance, civils works and inspections of hazard sites located on NRW Managed land and the Welsh Government Woodland Estate (WGWE) in South Wales. These hazard sites will include colliery tips, quarry tips, landslips, rock faces, historical quarries, fissures, mines, audits, reclamation colliery and opencast sites and other associated land hazards. All hazard sites are inspected and identifies required work which forms an annual programme of work. Lot 2: Civils Work Civils works which will include the construction and installation of drainage channels, culverts, culvert headwall maintance and replacement, french drains, installation of retaining structures including and not limited to gabion baskets, reinforced concrete walls, and land reprofiling and benching Lot 3: Inspections Adhoc inspections of land hazards for regular monitoring as and when required by NRW. i.e. Regular Inspections following the identification of an issue on a land hazard. Lot 1: Routine Maintenance Routine maintenance of sites which will include culvert clearance, ditch clearance, vegetation management.
