Tender description

Derry City and Strabane District Council (DCSDC) places much emphasis on the quality of the environment within the District for the benefit of residents and visitors and the provision of high class and colourful bedding plant displays throughout its public spaces form a major part of current grounds maintenance programme. DCSDC uses a wide range of seasonal bedding plants in its public spaces throughout Derry City, Strabane town and the outlying towns and villages. This tender will take the form of 3 lots as detailed below. Contractors are invited to tender for one, any or all of the job lots but must be able to carry out all and any works outlined within said lots. The contractor will be required to deliver all plants to nominated points throughout the District and timeliness of delivery is crucial. Lot 1 Derry City and Strabane District Council invites tenders for the supply and delivery of high quality Summer Bedding plants for use in the Council area during 2025. Lot 2 Contractors are invited to tender for the planting of hanging baskets and display planters, and the “growing on” of same to allow for establishment. This work is to be carried out on self-watering hanging baskets, wall/pole baskets, window boxes and barrier planters.
