Galway County Council - EOI for the provision of Cold Weather Response services 2024/2025

Galway County Council is seeking expressions of interest from Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) who are interested in providing a Cold Weather Response service (emergency short-term accommodation) in County Galway, from October 2024 to March 2025, at a property provided by Galway County Council. The emergency accommodation property is located within 20km of Galway City. Short-term emergency accommodation is necessary for people who have a history of rough sleeping and is particularly in demand during the Winter period. It is the intention to have sufficient emergency accommodation beds available to provide a bed in a safe, secure place for persons who are homeless and at risk of having to rough sleep. The Cold Weather Response is targeted at individuals who require short-term emergency accommodation and require additional supports to enable them to successfully access same.
