Rawtenstall Gyratory Project

Tender description

The Rawtenstall gyratory scheme aims to increase capacity, shorten journey times and reduce congestion at the gyratory in Rawtenstall as the population and volume of traffic increases in the area. The project will also improve active travel for the areas considered and deliver public transport improvements. Lot 1: The works will involve: • Traffic signal upgrades and coordination improvements • Localised carriageway widening and realignment • Improvements of carriageway crossings • Localised footway widening • Public realm improvements • Coordination with other projects in the local area Additional information: Lancashire County Council will hold supplier information sessions at County Hall, Preston and invite suppliers who may be interested in tendering for the Rawtenstall Gyratory project to County Hall, to hear more information about the project. The supplier information sessions will take place on: Wednesday 18th September PM and Thursday 19th September AM. Interested suppliers need only attend one briefing. Due to the limited number of places available, we are able to accept a maximum of 2 attendees per organisation.
