QQ24091 - Hire of 2 new Alexander Dennis 10.8m Enviro200 buses with CCTV (12 month term)

Tender description

This is for the hire of 2 new Alexander Dennis 10.8m Enviro200 buses on a 12-month supply only non-maintenance hire term with CCTV. The buses will be operated by the Council's Travel Unit to transport home to school Secondary School pupils. The vehicles will not be used on any commercial routes therefore RTPI is not required. The vehicles are required to come with a 6 way CCTV camera system installed. The buses are required to be in service for the new academic year therefore delivery is required by 23rd August 2024. The buses will be maintained by the Council's in-house Fleet Services Vehicle Workshop. The requirement is as follows: 2 new Alexander Dennis 10.8m Enviro200 buses with CCTV based on the following specification: • Supply only non-maintenance hire. • Passenger capacity - 40 seats. • Standard seats • 35 forward facing fixed seats with 3-point seat belts and 5 tip up seats with lap belts • 1 wheelchair space accessed via manual ramp at front door • Blown-air heating system with forced air ventilation • 6 way CCTV camera system to be supplied and installed (Centrad or equivalent) based on the following specification: o 1 reverse/rear view camera that can be integrated with a driver monitor serving as a reversing camera. o 1 nearside, 1 offside and 3 internal anti vandal cameras. All cameras to be at least 1080p quality and suitable for both day and night recording. o 7 inch driver colour monitor to provide the driver real-time visuals from cameras installed around the bus o Digital video recorder with hard disk storage and SD card supporting 1080p recordings. • PSVAR compliant • Delivery to WV10 0JN
