Tender description

NHS Supply Chain: Food seeks to establish a non-exclusive framework agreement for supply to Trusts via the direct supply route for but not limited to Multi Temperature Food Solutions. It is anticipated that in the first 24 months of the framework agreement the value of purchases will be circa GBP £220,000,000 however this is approximate only. The figures for the total estimated value are based on initial expenditure and include a forecast for growth. We anticipate to have 3 lots for this strategy, listed below, please note this is subject to change Lot 1: Ambient The ambient range will include but will not be limited to; grocery items, canned goods and cereals. Lot 2: Chilled The chilled range will include dairy items, cooked and raw meats, fruit and vegetables. Lot 3: Frozen The frozen range will include but will not be limited to; frozen vegetables, frozen meat products.
