Industry market engagement webinar event in preparation for publishing of Works Contractors and Reserved Specialist Employer Led Design Frameworks for schools capital projects undertaken for the Department of Education.

The Department of Education (the Contracting Authority) intends to establish a number of Works (Main Contractor and Reserved M and E Specialists) Frameworks to facilitate the nationwide delivery of primary, post primary and special schools. Future projects will include new build, extension and campus projects that will be procured through the Frameworks individually, in lots and in bundles across the Department’s multiple delivery programmes funded under the NDP programme. The intention is to meet potential tenderers and Framework Participants by means of an on-line webinar which is to take place at 9.30am Wednesday 14th August 2024. Details of the proposed Frameworks will be presented, and market feedback will be available through QandA chat function. Framework 1; Works Contractor. Employer led design, nationwide Framework for projects of value between €10m and €30m exc. VAT Framework 2; Works Contractor. Employer led design, nationwide Framework for projects of value in excess of €30m exc. VAT Framework 3; Mechanical Reserved Specialist. Employer led design nationwide Mechanical RS Framework for projects in excess of €10m Framework 4; Electrical Reserved Specialist. Employer led design nationwide Electrical RS Framework for projects in excess of €10m All Interested parties are welcome to attend but are required to respond accordingly to this notice by Friday 9th August 2024 (via the etenders portal) to register for the event.
