Expression of Interest - North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) - Local Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (LEVI) Deployment in North Northamptonshire

North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from potential suppliers for the delivery of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across the council. The Council intends to conduct a procurement exercise to appoint a supplier who will leverage both private investment and public funding to deploy and manage charge points in on-street and car park locations throughout North Northamptonshire. As part of the pre-procurement phase, NNC is seeking to host one-to-one meetings with interested parties. These meetings will provide an opportunity to discuss the project in detail before the finalisation of the Invitation to Tender (ITT) documentation and the commencement of the formal procurement process. The proposed arrangement will be a Concession Contract, which includes comprehensive requirements for the provision of end-to-end services. This involves turnkey solutions for designing, planning, constructing, installing, operating, and maintaining a smart EV charging network. NNC is adopting a portfolio approach to EV infrastructure delivery, which will include on-street installations in towns and villages lacking off-street parking, as well as deployments in NNC-owned public car park sites. Interested parties are encouraged to submit their Expressions of Interest to participate in the upcoming supplier interviews. This EOI forms part of the pre-procurement phase of this project, and will not directly result in a contract award.
