Laois County Council is currently finalising the procurement process to deliver 67 dwellings through a design build restricted tender process. The proposal consists of a development of a single plot providing social and affordable housing units (67 no. total) in Portlaoise. Appendix A, site map, shows the proposed arrangement. The total proposed area is 22,535m2. (2.25Ha). The proposal also includes the provision of public open space, car parking, upgraded vehicular access, all associated ancillary works including site development works, and hard and soft landscaping.
