As new communication standards, like 5G and 6G, emerge, there's a growing need for increased power and higher frequencies operations. This presents significant challenges in designing power amplifiers which often must meet several design parameters such as energy-efficiency, linearity, frequency bandwidth and output power. At CSA Catapult, our focus is on supporting the design, measurements, and development of energy efficient linear power amplifiers, based on emerging compound semiconductor technologies that deliver strong performance at higher frequencies.
