The delivery of General Acute Services to patients within Essex. General Acute Services including Accident and Emergency Services (A+E), Acute Services, Ambulance Services, Cancer Services, Diagnostic, Screening and/or Pathology Services, End of Life Care, Patient Transport, Radiotherapy, Urgent Treatment, Routine Elective Care, Elective Care, Critical Care Service, Fragility, Electroencephalography, Podiatry, Audiology and Respiratory Services. Lot 1: The Contracting Authority NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board, co-ordinating commissioner, on behalf of NHS Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Board (SNEE ICB) and NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board (HWE ICB), has awarded a one year contract via Direct Award Process A to the acute secondary care service provider Barking, Havering & Redbridge University Hospital NHS Trust (BHRUT). The contract commenced on 1st April 2024 and will expire on the 31st March 2025 with an estimated annual contract value of £54,247,488.00.
