Surface dressing is a preventative treatment which seals the surface of the road to prevent water damage, makes the road safer by improving surface texture and prolongs the life of the road. As a more cost effective method than resurfacing the method is able to extend the live of roads on the city and preserve the budget allowance for the highway improvement as a whole. We have a proposed programme of work for 2024/25 of approximately 67,500m2 across eight locations
