Tender description

Works shall include the installation of new stand alone Mechanical space heating and cooling system comprising of a multi function heat pump, providing low temperature hot water central heating and chilled water cooling to the West wing and proposed circulation space extension. Ventilation to be provided through a hybrid air handling unit plant with heat recovery function, distribution ductwork to all habitable spaces in the West wing as well as extract systems from areas that are prone to elevated levels of humidity and contaminants such as toilets, wet rooms, kitchens and storage areas. Mechanical smoke extract system to be installed in extension. Water services infrastructure in the existing building to be extended to serve the West wing and above ground drainage from all sanitary ware, appliances and above ground surface drainage. Fire fighting and protective services to be installed in compliance with regulations. A building management system is to be provided to monitor, meter and control mechanical plant and utilities as well as monitor internal environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, CO2 levels) while logging information on the central building management system in the existing building and on the cloud. The existing fire protection sprinkler system is to be extended from the existing system infrastructure in the main NLI building. Fire sprinkler to be installed and commissioned by suitably qualified contractor to also take design responsibility of system.
