TENDER FOR PASSENGER TRANSPORT SERVICES – HOME TO SCHOOL 2024 RUTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL

Tender description

The Council wishes to invite tenders for the supply of services for Home to School or College transport for residents based in Rutland on a number of routes as defined in the Schedules. Lot Requirements: LOT 1- All Primary, Secondary and Post-16 Education Buses. Bids on individual routes within Lot 1 will not be accepted. Bidders can submit a bid under Lot 1 for Contract 1 or Contract 2 or Both. LOT 2- Specialist Transport services (Minibus & Taxi) A bidder may submit as many bids for routes within Lot 2, as they wish. There are no restrictions. Please specify the price per day for operation. LOT 3 – Pence per mile Taxis Bids for this Lot will be used to establish a Framework for identifying potential suppliers of: • short notice requirements • short term route requirements • emergency transport services The Council will offer these requirements to suppliers in turn according to their pence per mile rate on a ranked basis.
