Deployable Tactical Engagement Simulation (D-TES) [TSSP/143 ILT-D]

Tender description

Instrumented Live Training – DFWES (ILT-D) is an appended precision laser based tactical engagement system for vehicles, armoured platforms, heavy weapon systems and anti-tank weapons used in force on-force exercises as part of collective training. It simulates and records the effects of weapon engagements on vehicles and enables realistic and challenging training. The Authority has a requirement for 1000 ILT-D Soldier Systems for delivery of training overseas as well as exercise management and support. Lot 1: The requirement is for the purchase of 1000 Soldier Systems to deliver training overseas along with exercise management and support. When not in use these systems will supplement the existing c2500 systems already used for training worldwide. The anticipated value of this requirement is £40,000,000. The intent is to place this activity as a Contract Amendment to Contract TSSP/143 (ILT-D), uplifting the original Contract value from £141,820,283 to an estimated £181,000,000. The requirement will align with the ILT-D Contract (expiry March 2027 with 3 x 1 year options to extend) The Cyber Risk Profile is assessed as moderate.
