Havering Council intend to commence a tender exercise for the award of a multi-supplier framework agreement for the supply of fresh & frozen meat and poultry to several local authorities who provide in-house school catering services. This agreement will be made available to members of the Procurement Across London (PAL) catering group currently comprising of five East London and one Unitary authority, with the option of other London Boroughs joining. Lot 1: Havering Council intend to commence a tender exercise for the award of a multi-supplier framework agreement for the supply of fresh & frozen meat and poultry to several local authorities who provide in-house school catering services. Estimated Value: The framework is anticipated to have an estimated value of £8,500,000 over 3 + 1 years. Procurement Procedure: The procurement procedure anticipated for this framework will be communicated in the forthcoming Contract Notice. Potential procurement routes include Open, Restricted, or Competitive Dialogue, subject to preliminary market engagement outcomes. Market Engagement: Before the formal procurement process, the London Borough of Havering wishes to engage with the market to understand potential suppliers' capabilities, innovation opportunities, and sustainability practices. Interested suppliers are invited to a market engagement event scheduled for 15 May 2024.
