Establishment of a multi-lot framework agreement for the provision of civils and Infrastructure core works Lot 1: Road Surfacing Works Road Resurfacing and Re-Construction including. Carriageway and Footway Construction and Re-Construction Carriageway and Footway Resurfacing (Bituminous and Concrete) Carriageway and Footway Patching (Bituminous and Concrete) Traffic Management Lot 2: Civil Engineering Road Works – Minor value GBP 250k and under Construction, Repair and Maintenance of Road and Footway Assets and associated infrastructure including. Kerbing / Slabbing / Block Paving / Public Realm Drainage (pipes and fittings, ironwork, proprietary ironwork repair systems, catchpits, inspection chamber, culverts, drain cleaning, sump emptying and CCTV surveys. Earthworks / Remediation Carriageway resurfacing/patching Footway surfacing Site Clearance Signing / Lining Traffic Management Street Lighting Street Furniture Lot 3: Civil Engineering Road Works – Major value above GBP 250k Construction, Repair and Maintenance of Road and Footway Assets and associated infrastructure including; Kerbing / Slabbing / Block Paving / Public Realm Drainage (pipes and fittings, ironwork, proprietary ironwork repair systems, catchpits, inspection chamber, culverts, drain cleaning, sump emptying and CCTV surveys. Earthworks / Remediation Carriageway resurfacing/patching Footway surfacing Site Clearance Signing / Lining Traffic Management Street Lighting Street Furniture Lot 4: Proprietary Thin Surfacing Treatments on Carriageways and Footways Design and application of Proprietary surface treatments to carriageways and footways Including; Thin Overlays Microasphalts Surface Dressing Slurry Sealing Insitu-Recycling. Lot 5: Proprietary Carriageway Repairs / Spray Injection Patching Design and delivery of Spray Injection carriageway patching solution compliant with relevant specifications and standards Lot 6: Proprietary Ironwork Repairs Design and installation of a proprietary high strength manhole and ironwork repair system compliant with relevant specifications and standards Lot 7: Vehicle Restraint Systems Design and installation of vehicle restraint systems / Safety Barrier. This includes removal of damaged safety barriers, posts and terminals, and design and installation of new barriers and systems. Lot 8: Planing Works Cold milling of road surfaces including if required: - Signing of Work Area, Traffic Management Recycling of Planed materials Delivery of planed materials to nominated location Lot 9: Road & Surface Marking Supply and lay thermoplastic road markings, road studs and associated markings including: - Lining of roads and carriageways Marking of other surfaces including car parks, playgrounds, sports courts and other external locations Removal of road and surface markings Lot 10: Anti-Skid / High Friction Surfacing Supply and apply anti-skid / high friction surfacing systems to various road and footway surfaces. Systems to be in accordance with the Specification of Highway Works Clause 924. Lot 11: Temporary Traffic Management Supply, maintain and remove temporary traffic management layouts including: - Road closures Road diversions Contraflows Temporary traffic lights Event Management Lot 12: Streetscape and Public Realm Works Construction, Repair and Maintenance of natural stone high quality surfaces, street furniture and decorative items including: - Granite kerbs, granite setts, caithness slabs Stainless steel bollards, signage, seating, cycle racks, etc Water Sensitive Urban Design including Rain Gardens; installation of planting beds as part of the surface water drainage scheme Planting Areas: installation of other planting beds as part of public realm works Street Trees: to include all underground infrastructure to support tree to maturity Works may also include elements of the following: - Carriageway and Footway Construction and Re-Construction (Bituminous and Concrete) Carriageway and Footway Resurfacing (Bituminous and Concrete) Carriageway and Footway Patching (Bituminous and Concrete) Insitu Recycling Street Lighting Drainage (pipes and fittings, ironwork, proprietary ironwork repair systems, catchpits, inspection chamber, culverts, drain cleaning, sump emptying and CCTV surveys) Earthworks / Remediation Site Clearance Signing / Lining Traffic Management Utility diversions Traffic signal installations Fencing Barriers Installation of bus and cycling infrastructure e.g. shelters, RTPI, orcas and specialist surfacing works. Lot 13: Road and Decorative Lighting works, civil and electrical Remove/replace external lanterns and luminaries onto walls, columns other support systems Install/remove cabling fixed to building, walls and to external structures above the ground. Electrical testing of external lighting installations Replace/remove electrical components from external lighting installations. Works will require setting and removal of temporary traffic management. Install/remove cabling into carriageways, footways, footpaths, grassed areas including excavation and reinstatement of various surface types. Install/remove lighting columns and support structures for external lighting within carriageways, footways, footpaths, grassed areas Works will require setting and removal of temporary traffic management. Lot 14: Landscape Construction & Ground Maintenance Landscape construction projects including hard and soft landscaping and broad-spectrum grounds maintenance activities; lawn, meadow & verge creation, maintenance & repair, tree & shrub bed construction & maintenance to include weed control and the eradication of noxious perennials. Works may also include countryside access work (remote path construction and maintenance, drainage works and construction and maintenance of path furniture & directional/advisory signage), pond repairs, naturalisation and maintenance. Scope of works to also include surveying and design work related to landscaping projects. Lot 15: Tree Works - Emergency and Planned Works Arboricultural & Woodland works covering the full range of maintenance, protection and management operations including surveys, remedial surgery works, excavations, fellings, thinnings, vegetation control, stump removal (with reinstatement of bound surfaces), pruning and maintenance. Works activities include emergency works and Planned works. Lot 16: Playground Installation and Surfacing Works All construction processes for the design, supply, installation, maintenance and repair and inspection of playground equipment to include safer surfacing and all associated accommodation works.
