A57 Compound Civils

Tender description

Works include - Hedgerow site clearance (including Root removal). - Temporary hardstanding for access arrangements. - Minor archaeology mitigation works within the site compound, to compromise of an excavator plus driver to work as directed by the onsite archaeologist. - Topsoil Strip to the full extents of the site compound, the stripped topsoil will be used as 3m high screening bunding around the perimeter of the site compound, any excess topsoil will be stored locally to the compound no further that 600m away. - Installation of drainage pipes associated chambers and outfall / office accommodation pipework (note stubs out of the ground to be installed for office accommodation only, final connections will be completed by another) - Drainage gullies in line with design, 2 stage approach to be priced 1st stage below tarmac level, 2nd stage build up to finished tarmac level. - Associated Kerb installation including Aco units and outfalls. - Balancing outfall pond and associated inlet and outlet pipes including headwalls. - Placement and compaction of subbase / capping layers to the underside of surfacing level. - Installation of comms and lighting ducts and associated chambers to facilitate office accommodation and lighting / CCTV requirements. - Installation and hardstanding of stats utility pads - Removal of existing footpaths and kerbs to accommodate new compound entrance. - V-ditches around the compound and associated outfall pipes / headwalls - Foul drainage connection pipe work into United Utilities existing asset - United Utilities protection works to asset as detailed in TW details
