Provision of Transformation Capability Development Training & Support

Tender description

This procurement is looking to acquire an initial set of capabilities that have been prioritised as we commence the transformation programme. The procurement has been divided into Lots, each focussed on a connected set of capabilities aligned with a particular outcome. Providers may choose to respond to one or more lot. The Lots are: ● Lot 1: Innovation, Service Design, and Strategy Development ● Lot 2: Strategy Deployment, Operations Management, and Continuous Improvement ● Lot 3: Workshop design and facilitation Lot 1: Lot 1 Innovation, Service Design & Strategy Development To achieve the transformation and impact we desire, we require the capabilities to uncover the true experience and needs of our community, ideate new and innovative ways of meeting and exceeding those needs, and re-imagining how our business/services deliver to the community. Within this lot, we require support for developing the following capabilities: a). Service design & management b). Innovation & innovation management c). User experience d). Design thinking e). Strategy development / business modelling Please refer to the tender documentation Lot 2: Lot 2 Strategy Deployment, Operations Management & Continious Improvement To achieve sustainable improvements to services and a transformation of our operations, we require the capabilities to design, implement, and operate controlled and measurable processes which are continuously improved based on evidence clearly aligned to our overarching ambitions. This is about more than delivering projects, but also about how we deploy strategy and how teams manage their operations on a daily basis with a systematic approach to continuous improvement, e.g., through use of kata coaching. Within this lot, we require support for developing the following capabilities: a). Lean problem solving (LSS) b). Lean continious improvement c). Lean problem solving (LSS) d). Lean start-up e). Lot 3: Lot 3 Workshop Design & Facilitation Our transformation programme will be delivered through the efforts of the UCD Community, as well as central support provided through UCD Agile, the Centre of Excellence for UCD POST. Building the confidence and capability to design and facilitate workshops in our colleagues is critical to enabling the breadth of activity this programme will require.
