Tender description

Fire stopping, fire protection and consideration of penetrations of service through ducts in Cardinal Newman High School. The Works comprise remedial works to fire compartmentation in various locations and associated asbestos removal; all within the existing Cardinal Newman High School at Main St, Bellshill, ML4 3DW. The Works comprise fire stopping above the suspended ceilings. The works include removal and reinstatement of the ceilings to facilitate the works. The fire stopping works include installation of fire collars, ablative coated batt and cavity barriers. Contractor to leave the school areas cleared of all materials and access equipment at the end of each working day. The works will be executed outwith normal school hours, during weekends, in-service days and school holiday periods. Working outwith school hours and weekends, unless otherwise agreed with CA and School Management, to be limited to:- 1600 till 0000 midnight, Monday to Friday 0800 to 1700 – on Saturday and Sunday Working during in-service days and school holidays, unless otherwise agreed with CA and School Management, to be limited to:- 0800 to 1700 – Monday to Friday.
