The HRB The Health Research Board (HRB) is a statutory agency under the aegis of the Department of Health. The HRB’s mission is to support research that improves people's health, promotes evidence-informed care and creates solutions to societal challenges. Our vison is ‘better health through excellent research, data and evidence’. Our main areas of activity are: • Funding research proposals on the basis of open competition and peer review, and managing approximately 300 active research grants. Funding is awarded on the basis of open competition and peer review, and most awards are made to universities. • Conducting evidence reviews to underpin decision-making in health • Managing data collections in the areas of alcohol and drug treatment and deaths, disability, and psychiatric admissions and discharges. • Managing the National Drugs Library, a specialist information resource for health practitioners, researchers and policy makers in the drug and alcohol field. The HRB require estate agent expertise for the sale of their offices at 78 Lower Baggot st. Dublin. The property comprises a 4 storey over basement Georgian Building with a one storey over basement side extension (originally a carriage arch) and a former coach house to the rear. The Georgian property is in relatively good condition and the specification includes solid timber flooring with carpets, data cabling points throughout, storage heating with some air conditioning units, modular fluorescent lighting with some chandelier replica lighting, velux windows in the top floor, security cameras throughout, brass stair rods, smoke detectors and a secure comms room in the basement. The side extension consists of offices on the ground floor and W.C’s with shower units on the lower ground floor.
